For the first time in our missionary Diocese, Vespers in honour of St Phanourios were celebrated at the cathedral.
Afterwards the “phanouropita”, the traditional cake made in honour of the saint, was blessed and shared with the faithful.
The faithful heard about the life and martyrdom of St Phanourios, and were even given the recipe so that they can bake the cake at home.
