On the feast of St Alexander, with the blessing of Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II, Bishop Nifon ordained Fr Alexandros Karachalios to the priesthood.
From Athens, he is the first Greek to be ordained priest in our Diocese, coming to give his whole life to the Mission.
After the Liturgy, in the courtyard of the cathedral, the “Bag of Life” was given out to people in need: each bag held food for several days.
All this is possible thanks to your love, coming from Thessaloniki, Corinth and many other towns in Greece. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
