The Diocese celebrated the leave-taking of the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God at St Nicholas Cathedral.
With the blessing of Pope and Patriarch Theodoros II, Bishop Nifon ordained Fr Chrysostomos to the diaconate and raised Frs Methodios, Stavros and Paisios to the ranks of confessor and archpriest.
Fr Methodios continues his service in Ambovondramanesy, Fr Stavros at the cathedral in Mahajanga, and Fr Paisios leaves for the parish of St Charalambos in Ambanja, about ten hours away.
Our hope: that everywhere there will be a priest, a living parish and a spiritual family leading people to Christ.
