The Diocese offered a “Meal of Love” at the orphanage and the home for the elderly in Mahajanga: a day full of emotion, smiles and the love of Christ.
The presence of the municipal authorities marked a new step in the cooperation between the town and the Diocese in serving those in need.
The joy of the orphanage children at the table was the greatest reward. A choir will also be formed, so that the children can grow up joyfully through music.
The orphanage building was built in 2011 by the Men’s Philanthropic Brotherhood of Thessaloniki; today the task is to bring it back to life.
The meal ended beneath the Greek and Malagasy flags, with everyone singing the two national anthems together.
